We are currently looking for a Specialist Exports to lead a team in charge of executing the overall export management business for all brands of the adidas Group. This position will be responsible for implementing an export process where all documentation is complete and meets the country specific entry requirements and to ensure that duty paid is recouped through a timely drawback process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and implement business rules and SOP’s for the export management operation of all brands. Assist in developing export management solutions and enhancement of best practices.
Supervise to ensure effective execution of shipment deliveries for all brands.
Supervise to ensure consistent achievement of designated export KPIs.
Provide guidance and assists when exceptions need to be managed.
Implement and oversee effective export planning process and monitors overall transportation modes, carriers, and ensures optimal cost and service levels for the deliveries.
Implement and oversee effective processes for data, cost and information reporting and ensures timely communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and coach to ensure that individual and department objectives are achieved.
Assist in the training effort to ensure that competency and knowledge are sustained within the department.
Implement and oversee a duty drawback process that is timely and ensure that claims are tracked and recouped for the organization.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
College Degree or equivalent Export Management experience
2-4 years relevant Export experience
Must be familiar with AES filings
Good understanding of country specific export regulations
Strong communication skills
Strong people management skills
PC Literate with an emphasis on Access and Excel
Previous management experience preferred
